Allegiant Sentinels Veterans Art Exhibit/Liberty Amphitheater Ribbon Cutting Celebration

Join us for a public celebration as the City of Grimes and Grimes Chamber & Economic Development officially unveil the Allegiant Sentinels Veterans Art Exhibit and cut the ribbon on the new Liberty Amphitheater.

Created by renowned artist Karl Unnasch, Allegiant Sentinels was designed to honor the service and sacrifice of veterans—past and present—while inspiring future generations to serve. Set in a beautiful new public space adjacent to the Grimes Public Library and a multi-use trail, this site will host reflection, celebration, and community events for years to come.

The project was led by the City of Grimes and made possible through years of fundraising by the Rotary Club of West Polk County and a generous grant from BRAVO Greater Des Moines.
