Grimes Governors Days is an annual event that is organized by Grimes Chamber & Economic Development in coordination with the Governors Days Committee and with the support of dozens of local Chamber Member sponsors and the City of Grimes.
The event consists of live music, a large entertainment garden, Sam’s Amusements Carnival, the MS Moments Bags Tournament, multiple parades, food and craft vendors, the Lions Club Pancake Breakfast, and many other events.
Governors Days is one of the grandest summer festivals in the Des Moines, Iowa metropolitan area. Sign you, your business, or your cause up for our Grand Parade held in Grimes at 10AM on Saturday, June 7th.
There will be a FLOAT CONTEST! So be sure to be your creative hats on! (The theme this year is Superheroes!)
